According to a media announcement from Star Compliance Services, the seminars will take place Friday, November 20 for attendees in the Metro Washington, DC/Gaithersburg, Md areas; Friday, December 4 for those in the Baltimore/Owings Mills/Pikesville, Md areas; and Friday, December 18 for attendees in the Richmond, Va area.
Per the announcement, the seminars, conducted by Star Compliance Services founder Gregory Ewing, are designed to provide vital compliance information for those who operate under Medicaid or Medicare regulations.
During each seminar, Ewing will cover such areas as federal and state regulations, how to implement compliance requirements, how to avoid HIPAA penalties, staff training tips, and what to do during an audit. He will also be able to answer attendees’ questions.
