Therapy Partners Group announces its newest partnerships with Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation (SCAR) of Orange, Calif, and Larchmont Physical Therapy of Los Angeles. To further support the communities these outpatient physical therapy brands serve, SCAR will become a member of ProSport Physical Therapy and Larchmont Physical Therapy will join Two Trees Physical Therapy.

Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation (SCAR) has been serving the greater Orange County area since 1973. Jim & Michele Herkimer have owned SCAR since 2007.

“SCAR has been a resource for therapy, wellness, and sports medicine in our community for almost 50 years,” Jim Herkimer says. “I am excited about our new relationship with Therapy Partners Group as it will allow us to continue to grow and provide the personalized, high-quality care our community has come to expect.”

“We are proud to welcome Jim, Michele, and their wonderful staff to the ProSport Physical Therapy family,” says Donohue, Founder ProSport Physical Therapy. “SCAR is a highly respected practice that has served the Orange County community for nearly half a century. They share our commitment to providing the best possible care for their patients and we are excited about continuing that tradition.”

Larchmont Physical Therapy was founded by Kathy Whooley. Kathy and her team have been providing care to the Westside, Mid-Wilshire, and Beverly Hills residents since 1985. A physical therapy educator, Kathy has dedicated her career to education, mentorship, and clinical excellence.

“Partnering with Therapy Partners Group will provide the administrative support, operational expertise, and a vast network of industry resources that allow my team to continue doing what they do best: delivering extraordinary physical therapy care to the community,” Whooley says.

“We would like to welcome Kathy and her team with open arms to the Two Trees PT family. We are thrilled to partner with a brand with a similar steadfast commitment to clinical excellence and customer values, as we continue to expand coverage from Ventura County to LA County,” shares Phil Azer of Two Trees Physical Therapy.

“Kathy Whooley, Jim, and Michele Herkimer and their respective teams share our commitment to providing the highest quality of care with a customer-centric approach. We are excited about these new partnerships and look forward to supporting them in continuing the legacy of their respective practice brands,” says Brent Mack, CEO of Therapy Partners Group.
