During the month of October—which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month—Performance Health is offering a product promotion in support of Pink Link, an online community for young women affected by breast cancer.
During October, Performance Health will donate $.50 for each Thera?Pearl. Pink Eye-Essential Mask and each pre-cut roll of TheraBand Pink Kinesiology Tape sold through healthcare practitioners.
“Over the past 6 years, our product promotion programs have resulted in donations in excess of $50,000 to Pink Link,” stats Jose Gonzalez, marketing manager, Performance Health, in a media release from the Akron, Ohio-based company.
“This year’s program is being promoted exclusively through our healthcare partners—physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and podiatrist—to allow their patients and clients the opportunity to make a difference for those struggling with the challenges of breast cancer,” he adds.
“The Pink Link community has been so grateful for the years of support from Performance Health—the benefits to women with breast cancer are immeasurable,” added Mary Beth Gibson, Executive Director. “With exciting new changes ahead for Pink Link, we are thrilled to continue our partnership.”
