Zamst announces the release of the ZK-X, an extra strong knee brace designed for moderate to severe sprains of the ACL, MCL, and LCL.

The ZK-X features a lateral and medial hinged support system that provides additional support to the knee joint and is the primary feature that differentiates it from the ZK-7 brace.

“We created the ZK-X out of the demand from our retailers and customers who love the ZK-7, but needed additional support and protection,” says Lauren Fifield, Zamst US, marketing director, in a media release. “The ZK-X is lighter and more comfortable than current hinge braces on the market, making it an attractive solution for those recovering from a ligament tear or knee sprain.”

The ZK-X features a molded exoskeleton that provides a three-way ligament support to the knee, as well as a semi-open design and adjustable straps to help prevent slipping.

It also features flyweight and lightweight material fabrication engineered with V-Tech flow ventilation that enhances cooling during activity, as well as ROM-Tech, or pre-curved design, that allows for full range of motion.
