The NeuroRecovery Training Institute (NeuroRTI) announces that Jennifer Richards, CPO, LPO, CPed, FAAOP, is the new instructor for its upcoming course on gait assessment and orthotics.

The course, “Advanced Pathologic Gait Assessment and Orthotics,” will be held March 20, 2016 onsite at Frazier Rehab Institute in Louisville, Ky, per a NeuroRTI media release.

During the course, Richards will review normal and abnormal gait from an orthotist’s perspective, and will present observational gait analysis and the basics of orthoses design. The course will include 6 hours of online lectures and 1 day at a clinical site.

She has worked as an orthotist/prosthetist in both institutional-based hospital and privately owned orthotics and prosthetics clinics, and has graduate-level teaching experience in both orthotics and prosthetics schools and physical therapy schools, the release explains.
