HydroWorx, Middletown, Pa, is offering “Progression of Foot and Ankle Injury Rehabilitation Using Aquatic Therapy,” a free webinar on Tuesday, November 24, from 1 to 2 pm EST.

The instructor, Cheryl Bennett, PTA, CGT, is an aquatic therapist at University Physical Therapy, part of the OrthoCarolina orthopedic practice.

During the webinar, she will teach several key treatment ideas for patients with foot and ankle injuries. These include, but are not limited to, how to strengthen the range of motion, flexibility, and strength of the foot and ankle using water therapy exercises; how to safely progress from aquatic therapy to land-based, weight-bearing therapy; and effective ways to build core strength and musculature to support healthy recovery, explains a media release from HydroWorx.

She will also present three case studies of how these strategies were used in clinical situations, followed by a question-and-answer session.
