East Coast-based Pivot Physical Therapy announces its recent acquisition of ProCare Physical Therapy.

The addition of ProCare’s more than 20 locations to the Pivot Physical Therapy family expands the provider’s presence and services in Pennsylvania and Virginia.

“We are thrilled to have the caring professionals from ProCare join our team,” says Pivot CEO Harris Thompson, in a media release. “With ProCare, we found a unique opportunity to join with professionals who bring customer service, clinical excellence and just plain enthusiasm and compassion to help people feel better every day.”

“We are honored to continue to serve our more than 20 communities in Pennsylvania and Virginia, now as part of Pivot,” states ProCare CEO Mat Dewing, in the release. “We have grown extensively not only by caring deeply about our patients, but also by continuing to offer new services such as pediatric care, hand therapy, and more. I am proud to work with a strategic partner that will offer our employees a strong environment to grow.”

Reportedly the largest independent physical therapy provider in the region, Pivot Physical Therapy has nearly 250 locations throughout the East Coast. In recognition of its growth and its achievements with its business and its patients over the previous year, the provider was named the WebPT Ascend 2016 Practice of the Year.
