U.S. HealthWorks, an operator of occupational healthcare and urgent care centers with locations across the United States, announces the recent acquisition of Immediate Medical Care in Los Angeles.

Immediate Medical Care operates an operational and urgent care center, as well as an ancillary physical therapy facility, in the Los Angeles area.

This acquisition adds to the currently 37 U.S. HealthWorks centers across the Los Angeles area, and brings the total number of medical and worksite clinics to 224 nationwide, in 20 states, according to a media release from U.S. HealthWorks.

Joseph Mallas, president and chief executive officer of U.S. HealthWorks, says in the release that, “We are excited to extend our footprint to this part of LA allowing us to better serve our Southern California clients.”

“We are pleased to join the U.S. HealthWorks team,” says Dr Andrew Silver, who has served as the Medical Provider at Immediate Medical Care and is now part of U.S. HealthWorks management, in the release. “U.S. HealthWorks is well-known throughout California and will enhance our ability to serve our patients and clients better than ever.”

Immediate Medical Care will continue to offer occupational healthcare, urgent care, and physical therapy services, per the release.
