EZ-ACCESS, a division of Homecare Products Inc, headquartered in Algona, Wash, announces that it has acquired Mesa, Ariz-based Worldwide Mobility and will introduce a line of external power vehicle lifts.

The company notes in the media release that production of the vehicle lifts will be moved to its Algona headquarters, and anticipates the need to hire more employees and increase its production space.

It also states in the release that this acquisition is expected to mark the beginning of the expansion of the EZ-ACCESS product lines.

“With the introduction of the PASSPORT Vertical Platform Lift in 2014 and now the addition of external power vehicle lifts, we remain committed to offering our customers a complete line of products for all access solutions,” EZ-ACCESS CEO Don Everard says in the release.

“We are grateful for the years of loyalty dealers have shown us and believe that we can continue to build on our commitment as we expand our product offerings to help create opportunity for them,” Everard adds.

Per the release, the new external power vehicle lifts are designed to enable fast and efficient transportation of scooters and power chairs. The lifts, made from heavy-duty materials, are easy to install and operate, and adjust to most vehicles and models of power chairs and scooters.
