The HipShield has closed-cell foam hip pads sewn into the garment, which are comfortably positioned over each hip to absorb the impact on the hip produced by a fall. The hip protector is comprised of a cotton-spandex blend for comfort, and the perforations in the foam allow the skin to breathe and help guard against skin breakdown. This hip protection is ideal for patients at risk of hip fracture and is worn under clothing. The unisex briefs are available in four sizes.
