Hands-On Seminars has announced an upcoming intensive training seminar in myofascial trigger point and proprioceptive therapy. The seminar aims to teach the most successful approaches for the evaluation and treatment of myofascial pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction. The approach of this teaching integrates myofascial trigger point and proprioceptive concepts in a systematic, comprehensive manner. Participants will learn advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques and will participate in extensive lab sessions.
The scientific background and methods taught utilize an evidence-based model with solid research and techniques that have been tried for years and incorporates the clinical experience of Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos & Konstnatine Rizopoulos, authors of the text The Manual of Trigger Point & Myofascial Therapy. The course contains extensive lab sessions of all muscle systems discussed at the course and also includes the Spray & Stretch technique. Instruction includes utilizing advanced multimedia methods.
The instructor for this educational event will be PTS, CA, CMTPT, CMT, CAAAPM, MCMT, a graduate of the Academy of MyoTherapy and Physical Fitness. According to a Hands-On Seminar news release, Finn is Board Certified from the National Association of MyoFascial Trigger Point Therapists having served as President from 1992-1994.
