The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) recently named TrueLearn, a provider of online learning and exam preparation resources for healthcare professionals, as a Strategic Business Partner, TrueLearn announces.

Used by residency programs, medical schools, and physical therapy programs nationwide, TrueLearn’s SmartBanks combine a traditional question bank with evidenced-based learning science features to help students and residents become better learners, thinkers, and test-takers.

“APTA is pleased to have TrueLearn join us as a Strategic Business Partner,” says Jason Bellamy, Executive Vice President of Strategic Communications, in the release. “We are excited to collaborate on ways to improve the value of membership and strengthen the physical therapy profession.”

The company’s Physical Therapy SmartBank includes over 800 practice questions mapped to the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) content outline, plus detailed answer explanations, on-the-go mobile access, references on every question, and personalized analytics.

Each practice question is written and reviewed by a team of content authors, editors and directors well-versed in the item writing guidelines for the exam. That team is led by Physical Therapy SmartBank Director, Dr. Jill Horbacewicz, PT, MA, PhD, the release explains.

“TrueLearn is excited to be a Strategic Business Partner of the American Physical Therapy Association,” Horbacewicz states. “We believe that supporting APTA is critical to the future of the physical therapy profession. We look forward to achieving our business goals with the support of this partnership.”
