The 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals have selected the Impact Cryotherapy System to augment their training and recovery routines when they resume play this spring.

Nick Kenney, the Royals’ head athletic trainer, notes in a media release from Impact Cryotherapy that he’s a big fan of cryotherapy and the benefits it offers athletes, including recovering from both daily demands and injury.

“With Impact Cryotherapy, the ability to train harder and recover faster in order to help the team prepare for another successful year was extremely attractive to us as an organization,” he adds.

“We are delighted to be selected by the Kansas City Royals,” said Richard E. Otto, Impact Cryotherapy chief executive officer and co-founder. “Who knows, perhaps we’ll be able to contribute to the Royals winning a back-to-back World Series!”
