New York-based MOTION PT Group Inc, a portfolio company of Pharos Capital Group LLC, announces the recent acquisition of the New York-based practice Community Physical Therapy.
Community Physical Therapy operates practices in Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, according to a media release from MOTION PT Group Inc.
The release explains that Roslyn Sofer, PT, DPT, OCS, founder of CPT, and her so David Sofer, PT, DPT, president/manager of CPT’s Brooklyn Office, will continue in their leadership roles post-acquisition. The CPT staff will join MOTION PT Group as well.

Their close relationships with the medical community result in regular referrals from New York’s top physicians in sports medicine, orthopedics, neurology and physiatry,” says Edward R.
