The Department Centers of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury, Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, have awarded a 3-year contract to IT Solutions, an Acentia company, to establish a nationwide campaign designed to educate and inform US military service members, veterans, and their families about traumatic brain injury (TBI). A new release issued by Acentia reports that the company will assist in developing, marketing, and sustaining a national public awareness of TBI through a long-term education, prevention, and outreach strategy.

This strategy will encompass public service announcements, social media and web campaigns, printed materials, and broadcast media announcements, and promotion at regional and national conferences.

Richard Jacik, Acentia Health Sector Executive, articulates the company’s honor in being selected to support DCoE’s efforts to raise awareness of TBI: “Acentia is committed to helping DCoE achieve its mission of improving the lives of our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families by advancing excellence in psychological health and traumatic brain injury prevention and care.”
