Reflexion Health, provider of the Virtual Exercise Rehabilitation Assistant (VERA), developed to support and remotely monitor physical therapy exercises at home in real time, was recently named a 2017 Top Workplace by The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The annual list, produced by the publication along with organizational health company Energage, is compiled based on results from an employee survey.

Survey questions ranged from management effectiveness and workplace amenities to whether pay and benefits are competitive. Based on the employee surveys, nonprofits and profit-seeking companies were ranked into three size categories; 500 or more employees, 100 to 499 employees and 50 to 99, notes a media release from Reflexion Health.

“We are very proud to be recognized as a top workplace and hope to continue to draw more local talent to our mission to improve access and affordability of healthcare through cost-effective technologies and services that are patient-centered, data-driven and value-based,” says Joseph Smith, MD, PhD, chief executive officer of Reflexion Health, in the release.

The San Diego-based company was founded in 2012.
