The listings are based on each job’s overall Glassdoor Job Score. The Glassdoor Job Score is determined by weighing three key factors equally: earning potential based on median annual base salary, job satisfaction rating, and number of job openings.
According to the Glassdoor data, physical therapist has a job satisfaction rating of 3.6 and offers a median base salary of $70,000. There are 34,899 open positions in the field.
Occupational therapist—listed as the No 4 top job—has a job score of 4.6 and a job satisfaction rating of 4.0. There are 17,701 job openings in the field, and the median base salary offered is $74,000.
