Clinicient announces the appointment of T. Kent Rowe as its new chief executive officer.

Rowe was previously senior vice president of sales at ZirMed, a business partner of Portland, Ore-based Clinicient. Before that, he was vice president and general manager of the hospital and large practice division of GE Healthcare IT, and spent 17 years with IDX Systems Corporation.

He received a BA in business management from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1986.

“I’m tremendously pleased to join Clinicient’s executive team. The organization has made enormous progress automating our client’s burdensome manual administrative work, decreasing time to payment, and redirecting clinic staff’s focus back on to their patients,” says Rowe in a media release from Clinicient.

“We are truly excited to welcome T. Kent Rowe as Clinicient’s new chief executive officer,” states Saundra Pennington, chief people and process officer at Clinicient, in the release. “Throughout his career, Kent has led teams that achieved greatness, and we are certain that he will do the same at Clinicient.”
