The American College of Sports Medicine welcomes applications for its Clinical Sports Medicine Endowment, it announces.

Through the program, a single grant of $5,000 will be awarded for research directly related to clinical sports medicine. The research medicine must be related to active care of athletes, including prevention strategies, treatment protocols, or treatment outcomes, and/or be directly related to issues of active care of athletes, including pathogenesis, pathophysiology, biomechanics, or environmental issues. 

Eligible applicants include MDs, DOs, PTs, ATCs, and other medical professionals involved in the conduct of patient-based clinical research. Applicants must be a current member of ACSM at the time of application submission.
