MedRisk, a leader in managed physical rehabilitation in workers’ compensation, today announced the appointment of its president Sri Sridharan to chief executive officer, effective immediately.

As CEO, Sridharan will assume strategic leadership responsibilities across all functions within the organization. He will continue to guide MedRisk toward its mission of restoring movement, empowering recovery, and driving progress in workers’ compensation.

“Sri is a dynamic leader who is committed to our purpose of helping both patients and our clients. We are pleased to name him CEO,” says Mike Ryan, executive chairman of MedRisk and its board of directors.

During his tenure at MedRisk, Sridharan, in partnership with the leadership team, made significant advancements in client management, analytics, and provider relations, driving the company to implement operational enhancements for improved client service, introduce cutting-edge technology for scalable patient engagement, and streamline processes to enhance provider satisfaction.

Sridharan joined MedRisk as chief client officer in 2022 and was appointed president in 2023. He has two decades of executive leadership experience at large organizations in the insurance industry, including Marsh, and holds a master’s degree from the University of Michigan.

“It’s a privilege to work with one of the best teams in this industry,” says Sridharan. “Working closely with our providers, we will continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients and a positive recovery experience for our patients.”
