Knee, ankle, and elbow wraps, braces, and exercisers manufactured by PFLEXXSPORTS, a company based in the United Kingdom, are set to be available soon in the United States.

The products were developed by PFLEXXSPORTS CEO Les Pape as a way to help rehabilitate a knee injury he experienced while living in Michigan, according to a media release from the company.

“I slipped on an ice bank and tore the cartilage in my knee. When I did the rehab I had no idea all the muscle tear I had. Medical professionals at Henry Ford Hospital said I need a knee support but I realized that did not fix the problem, so I developed the PFLEXX Knee Exerciser,” he explains in the release.

The sleeve is constructed from thermo-regulating yarn and features a tubular design for support and for inhibiting the buildup of lactic acid in the blood. The “spring elements” in the sleeve are made from memory retentive polymer and have been engineered to generate resistance against any joint movement, per the release.
