North Dakota football star Hunter Pike was crushing it in NCAA Divison 1 competition. A day on the ski slopes changed that when he collided with another skier and found himself in a “head first slide into first base.” Now he is battling back from a as T6-T7 injury and adjusting to life in a wheelchair as he works on his recovery with therapists at a well-known rehabilitation hospital.
