Theradynamics, a New York City-based physical therapy company, announced the opening of Theradynamics 101 Leonard Street, the first of three specialized rehabilitation and fitness club destinations planned to open in New York City in February 2023. Located in Tribeca, the 7500-square-foot destination features physical and occupational therapy, IV therapy by Reviv, an exclusive 300-member fitness and wellness club, an infrared sauna pod, meditation stations, a recovery lounge, and more.
The facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art fitness center, research-level performance science and rehabilitation technologies, patent-pending evaluation software for early detection of learning disorders in children, and a proprietary functional capacity and injury risk analysis for athletes, occupational athletes, and first responders.
“We are beyond excited to open Theradynamics 101 Leonard Street. This addition in the Tribeca section of New York City provides patients who need physical or occupational therapy with a professional-athlete-like rehab experience, and the non-injured population with a very exclusive fitness and wellness club that offers best-in-class equipment and amenities,” says Michael Greene, director of performance science for Theradynamics.
The Theradynamics Sports Performance Lab (SPL) is a cutting-edge, testing, performance training, recovery, and sports rehabilitation facility dedicated to reducing the risk of injuries and maximizing potential in athletes. The Sports Performance Lab team of board-certified doctors; licensed physical therapists; strength, conditioning, and performance enhancement specialists leverages sport science technologies, evidence-based methodologies, and artificial intelligence to optimize athletic performance.
The opening brings Theradynamic’s physical and occupational therapy outpatient division to more than 14 locations in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland. In addition to Theradynamics 101 Leonard street, the company will be opening Theradynamics Harlem, Theradynamics Hempstead, and Theradynamics Bed-Stuy Brooklyn to expand its patient base to more New Yorkers and their families.
