Life Wear Technologies, a leading supplier of both private label and branded sports medicine products, unveils CleanPrene, a sustainable joint support for sport-related injuries.

Developed using Bio II Foam, certified BioPreferred by the USDA, and focused on providing compression and support without the negative impacts of traditional Neoprene, CleanePrene’s bio-based and post-consumer recycled components allow for maximum comfort and mobility throughout use. Formulated from bio-based materials like oyster shells and plant oils and also post consumer recycled materials like polyester, nylon and post-use plastics, the splints are ultra-soft and flexible while still offering the same support and compression expected from leading brands.

CleanPrene’s four over-the-counter splints products are available in knee, wrist, elbow, and ankle varieties; each option is lighter, great for sensitive skin and is machine washable for long-lasting use.

“Life Wear has been in the Sports Medicine industry and in training rooms since the 1970s and we pride ourselves on new and exciting innovation.” said Colin Hall, Chief Revenue Officer of Life Wear Technologies. “We felt it was our responsibility to both our consumers and our planet to take the lead in developing a sustainable alternative that performs as well or better than leading brands. We are proud of the efforts of our entire team and worked tirelessly to make certain the product, the packaging and everything included lived up to our consumer’s expectation of a truly sustainable brand!”
