WorkWell Prevention & Care introduces WorkWell OnSite Flex Fit, a new approach to onsite physical therapy that aims to reduce soft tissue injury claims and workers’ compensation costs in corporations.

According to the company, OnSite Flex Fit stresses the employee experience, emphasizing the creation of in-person relationships with therapists that facilitate fast treatment and encourage prevention coaching.

WorkWell notes that a research-based data model developed over 5 years based on 70,000 physical therapy visits is used to analyze a company’s historical claims data to determine how to structure the service for the best results. The model compares an organization’s claims data to industry data, including clinical research and fee schedules, NCCI data and WorkWell outcomes data.

“WorkWell OnSite Flex Fit offers companies a deep and realistic view of injury prevention needs because of the scope of the model. In fact, the model will help uncover how to treat injuries for less and shift funding over to prevention, which offers the long-term benefit,” explains Kevin Schmidt, CEO, WorkWell, in a media release.

“By adding in a focus on employees, where the heart of injury prevention starts, companies gain a powerful way to reduce injury claims and earn employee trust.”
