MedRisk, a leader in managed physical rehabilitation in workers’ compensation, has announced that Chief Executive Officer Danielle Lisenbey is retiring. An Office of the Chair has been created to lead in the interim and complete the appointment of a new CEO. The Office of the Chair will be led by Executive Chairman and former CEO Mike Ryan.

“During the past three years, Danielle steered us through some of the most turbulent times of the pandemic,” Ryan says. “She brought great operational efficiencies and top talent to the company. We are grateful for her service and wish her the very best.”

Among the Office of the Chair’s first decisions was to promote Sri Sridharan to president of MedRisk. With expertise in workers’ compensation claims and data analytics, he has two decades of executive leadership experience at large organizations in the insurance industry, including Marsh. Sridharan, who holds a master’s degree from the University of Michigan, joined MedRisk as chief client officer in 2022.

“I’m honored to serve in this role,” Sridharan says. “MedRisk’s clinical and business expertise positions us to deliver superior health outcomes for patients and superior claims outcomes for payers through innovative solutions and the highest level of customer service.”

Additional members of the Office of the Chair include Sridharan and Chief Financial Officer Tom Weir. The group will oversee strategic planning and direction, working closely with customers, providers, and senior leadership to continue providing quality services and drive future innovation.

Jamie Davis-Motsinger has been appointed chief client officer, transitioning from chief sales officer.

“I am proud of our leadership team and confident that the Office of the Chair will enable MedRisk to continue achieving the next level in service, solutions, and improved patient health,” Ryan says.
