Be Remarkable, the newly launched recruitment program by ATI Physical Therapy, is a way to help recent physical therapist graduates pay down student loan debt and/or fill open positions in in-demand locations across the country.

The program comprises the following elements, explains a media release by the Bolingbrook, Ill-based physical therapy provider:

  • The ATI Coast2Coast Mobility Program, which allows physical therapists to work in different ATI locations across the country for defined amounts of time. A particular component of the program—called 72for36—is designed to offer eligible recent physical therapy graduates, licensed physical therapists, or current ATI associates an extra $72,000, in addition to their salary, to relocate to a particular in-demand area and provide services there for 36 months, as a way to help pay down student loan debt.
  • A monetary award to help pay down student loan debt, which is available to students who are at least a junior or a licensed physical or occupational therapist with an outstanding student loan. Registered participants can win a cash prize of either $1,000 or $500.
  • The Be Remarkable referral bonus program, which allows current ATI employees as well as the general public to refer licensed therapists for employment at ATI. If the referred person is hired, then the individual(s) who referred the clinician can earn from $500 to $2,500 from ATI.

In addition, ATI has added Brent Windsor to its staff to lead and enhance its Clinical Excellence Program. As part of this program, Windsor has developed planned educational pathways, mentorship opportunities, and expert specialty tracks to advance ATI employees as well as the industry as a whole, per the release.

“Our Be Remarkable campaign is helping physical therapists, new and experienced, find the place where they can truly accomplish their goals,” says Dylan Bates, CEO of ATI Physical Therapy, in the release.

“When you’re part of the ATI Family you get to be a meaningful part of someone’s life when they need you the most. Our goal with the Be Remarkable initiative and the Clinical Excellence Program is to attract a special kind of person; one we are committed to helping grow and reward,” states Brent Mack, chief operating officer for ATI Physical Therapy.
