Vicon, a supplier of precision motion tracking systems and match-moving software, has partnered with Innovative Sports Training (IST) to enhance the integration between its MotionMonitor software and Vicon’s motion capture system to offer consumers efficient motion capture with reduced hardware costs. The MotionMonitor collects data and provides immediate playback of the trial with 3D animation and graphical displays of raw data.
The MotionMonitor software for data acquisition, analysis, and visualization is integrated with Vicon’s T-Series and Bonita cameras, Tracker and Nexus tracking software, and additional components such as force plates. Mona Bhuta, vice president of IST, says, “The enhanced integration between MotionMonitor and Vicon systems helps us fulfill our goal of enabling end users to focus on their application instead of hardware configuration, programming, or scripting.”
