Raintree Rehab, a division of Raintree Systems that provides a business management solution for physical therapy and rehabilitation professionals throughout the United States, and Physitrack, an Apple Mobility Partner, announce a joint venture to develop and market clinical outcomes data solutions.
Both companies have independently been active in the outcomes data arena for several years, with Physitrack providing tools that help providers gather data in lockstep with Home Exercise Prescription from patients in outpatient care, and Raintree with bi-directional integration of outcomes data into its EHR platform.
Raintree and Physitrack have previously collaborated closely in providing engagement tools to Raintree clients, and the new joint venture takes the collaboration one step further, both technically and commercially, with inclusion of outcomes data management for healthcare providers and data analysts that utilize Raintree as the hub for day-to-day management of patient journeys, a media release from Raintree Systems notes.
“A practical approach to gathering and analyzing clinical data for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to ensure value preservation has been needed for nearly 30 years. We are excited to partner with Physitrack in this venture with the goal of delivering on that need,” said Terrence D. Sims, Raintree Systems COO, in the release.

The Raintree-Physitrack joint venture will be launched December 1, with the integrated solution already available immediately to Raintree clients, per the release.
