A 1-day live workshop presented by Summit Professional Education is designed to provide clinicians highly effective taping and billing practices to achieve superior clinical outcomes. According to an online course description, the workshop aims to empower clinicians to bridge the gap between having the tools and applying them in effective combinations to make a difference in a patient’s life while improving outcomes and management of complex clinical pathologies and dysfunctions.

The educational seminar focuses on the most effectual taping and proper billing practices to ensure a clinician achieves superior clinical outcomes with patients and are able to receive full reimbursement for the services rendered. A test-treat-retest methodology is practiced so that immediate effects of treatments can be modified as needed for optimal effectiveness, and clinicians should be able to immediately implement the strategies learned for immediate positive outcomes, according to Summit Professional Education.

The online course description notes that the lab-intensive workshop, titled “Kinesiology Taping, Manual Therapy & NeuroMuscular Re-Activation,” uses interactive case studies to guide the clinician through effective treatment strategies using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic taping, and neuromuscular reactivation techniques that can be used on orthopedic, geriatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients.
