Physical therapists from around the world will have the opportunity to advance their manual therapy skills by attending an 8-day, Brazil-based Manual Therapy certification program offered by Hands-On Seminars and The Physion Institute. The course runs from December 6 to 13, 2014, in San Paulo.

A news release issued by Hands-On Seminars notes that the intensive curriculum encompasses coursework and training. Practice and competency exams completed in the consolidated 8-day program will earn participants their Mastery Certification in Manual Physical Therapy.

The Physion Institute has been a platinum partner of Hands-On Seminars since 2007, and is reportedly one of the largest continuing education organizations in Brazil and across Latin America. Through its collaboration with The Physion Institute, the release notes that Hands-On Seminars has been able to provide key postgraduate education to students and offer them an opportunity to earn an internationally recognized diploma in Manual PT while allowing them to interact with other students from countries around the world.

According to the release, the coursework for the Accelerated International MCMT program addresses all of the content in the standard MCMT program broken into six courses, PT-01 through PT-05 and PT-MCMT.

The program is only offered twice a year and provides attendees a comprehensive approach that integrates the 47 years of clinical experience of Hands-On Seminars co-founders Dimitrios Kostopoulos, PT, MD, PhD, DSc, ECS, and Konstantine Rizopoulos, PT, DPT, FABS.
