The necksaviour, developed by Epiphany Innovations Ltd, is a traction device designed to gently stretch the neck to help relieve pain.

The device, from the Hertfordshire, England-based company, was developed with a dual layer technology to enable users to achieve a light or strong neck stretch, and comes in sizes for either short or long necks.

Among the ailments the company suggests the necksaviour can treat include neck pain, muscle spasms, stiffness, and tension headaches.

Lake Zurich, Ill-based Product Development Technologies notes in a media release that the device has recently received a Silver award at the 18th annual Medical Design Excellence Awards competition, in the Over-the-Counter and Self-Care Products category.
