Physical Rehabilitation Network LLC (PRN), headquartered in Carlsbad, Calif, announces the opening of a new physical and hand therapy clinic under the California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy (Cal Rehab) brand.

The clinic located in Baldwin Park, Calif, will include California Hand Therapy, a division of Cal Rehab dedicated to the treatment of the upper extremities.

This marks the third start-up clinic for PRN in less than 2 months and the 13th clinic under the Cal Rehab brand, according to a media release from PRN.

Isabel Hui, DPT, Cert. MDT, who is bilingual (English & Spanish) and certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, will direct the facility. She will be joined by occupational therapists Alexis Novak, ORT/L, who specializes in hand therapy and is certified in ASTYM – a soft-tissue mobilization technique specifically created to treat sports injuries and cumulative trauma.

“Our highly-trained physical and occupational therapists strive to provide remarkable outcomes for all patients through individualized and comprehensive care,” comments California Hand Therapy Founder, Ed Detels, OTR/L, CHT, in the release. “We look forward to supplying the Baldwin Park community with the best possible physical and hand therapy services in the area.”

“We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with Ed and the teams at Cal Rehab and California Hand Therapy, and for their dedication to the rehabilitation field,” states Bruce McDaniel, CEO of PRN, in the release.
