NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) has opened the NorthShore Spine Center at Skokie Hospital to treat back and neck conditions, it announces.

Part of the NorthShore Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, the Spine Center brings together a team of specialists, including those from orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, anesthesia, physical therapy, integrative medicine and pain psychology, to conservatively treat complex spine conditions, according to a news release.

Many of our physicians are nationally recognized in their specialties and treat patients from the entire region including professional and college athletes. A full range of treatment options, from physical therapy and integrative medicine treatments to advanced minimally invasive and computer- and robot-assisted surgical procedures and motion preservation techniques, are available at NorthShore Spine Center.

NorthShore has also opened the NorthShore Integrated Pain Center at Skokie Hospital to treat complex pain conditions using advanced interventional pain procedures, the release continues.
