WebPT announces the awarding of its 2016 Ascend Practice of the Year award to Pivot Physical Therapy. The winning practice was revealed during the third annual Ascend summit, September 9-10 in Fort Worth, Tex.

The practice, which encompasses more than 120 outpatient therapy locations throughout the East Coast, was given the honor based on its overall growth as well as its achievements in helping patients, promoting and maintaining company culture, participating in community outreach and contributing to the advancement of the rehab therapy industry, states a media release from WebPT.

As part of the award, Pivot Physical Therapy received $1,500, a full-page ad in Impact Magazine, and a free month of UpDoc Media digital marketing.

“It’s such an honor to win the Ascend award. It has really validated all the hard work we’ve done, and all the passion we’ve put into not only giving back to the patients in the communities we serve, but helping develop our clinicians and our profession to be great,” says Brian Hoy, PT, CMP, FMSC, director of clinical operations at Pivot Physical Therapy, in the release. “It has been a lot of work, so to receive validation from our peers — who are all so good — is a huge honor.”

“We had so many amazing applicants this year, which made it tough for our judges to choose just one winner,” shares Heidi Jannenga, the president and co-founder of Phoenix-based WebPT, per the release.

“Pivot Physical Therapy stood out for their innovation and deep dedication to all of their stakeholders — from employees to patients. They’ve achieved phenomenal growth over the last few years, which is directly tied to their commitment to culture and clinical excellence. The company also invests substantially in their clinicians, offering post-graduate education and certification, which has enabled them to continually improve the clinical services and care they provide to their patients,” she adds.
