Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) announces a new partnership with TeachAids. Together, they will provide CrashCourse, an interactive learning experience which educates youth nationwide about concussions.
PCA provides youth sports resources for youth and high school students. TeachAids creates research-based technology to solve persistent problems in global health education.

CrashCourse, their latest initiative, will be shared in PCA’s Development Zone Resource Center and disseminated across their network of over 1,000 schools and youth sports organizations across the country. Other organizations, including Pop Warner, American Youth Football and the US Olympic Committee, have shared the CrashCourse education products throughout their networks.

“I have had the honor of being involved with PCA since its founding and with TeachAids since the inception of the CrashCourse initiative. Both organizations’ respective goals of making youth sport participation safer and a more enjoyable experience is very important. Their initiatives complement each other so very well” says Dick Gould, vice chairman of TeachAids, Advisor for PCA and 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient from PCA, in a media release.

“Providing engaging and scientifically sound education on head injuries is of paramount importance,” states Olympic gold medalist and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup Champion, Julie Foudy.

“The CrashCourse materials by TeachAids have been an outstanding resource for our young athletes. It’s been incredible to watch the tremendous momentum around this initiative expand across our country,” adds Foudy, TeachAids Ambassador, PCA National Advisory Board member, and 2012 PCA Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, per the release.

Jason Sacks, VP of Business Development and Philanthropy at Positive Coaching Alliance comments, “We were impressed with TeachAids’ evidence-driven development process. Together, PCA and TeachAids will transform the culture around concussions for the 38 million youth actively engaged in sports across the United States.”
