The AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill is featured in the immersive installation “Experience Mars,” located in New York City October 26 to 29 to celebrate the launch of the six-part series MARS.

Visitors to the installation have the opportunity to experience visiting Mars and the sensation of the planet’s 38% gravity via either of four M/F 320 AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmills at the site, combined with virtual reality content.

MARS, the six-part series produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, is scheduled to premiere November 14 at 9 pm ET/PT on the National Geographic channel. Featuring interviews with Elon Musk, Stephan Petranek, Andy Weir, Ann Druyan and Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the series will guide viewers through the endeavor to colonize the planet, according to a media release from AlterG.

“AlterG’s involvement in ‘Experience Mars’ is a fantastic opportunity for people to experience the immense power of anti-gravity technology and understand the transformative possibilities for millions of people, in terms of exercise, injury prevention and rehabilitation, through use of space-age technologies,” shares AlterG Vice President of Marketing Gabriel Griego, in the release.

The free installation, “Experience Mars,” is open October 26 from 12 pm to 5 pm ET, and October 27 through October 29 from 12 pm to 7 pm ET, at the corner of Canal and Varic Streets in Manhattan.
