Cumberland Physical Therapy staffers report that 1 year after implementing the Total INSIGHT system from Clinicient, profitability and overall operations at its two locations have improved.
The practice—which has locations in Mechanicsburg and New Cumberland, Pa—notes that since implementing the system in 2015, it has achieved a 97% net collections rate, a 93% first pass payment rate, and has averaged 28 days in A/R, according to a news release from Clinicient.
“Since implementing a year ago we’ve been able to see measurable progress in how we handle the full patient process—from treatment to billing and time to reimbursement,” says Jose Dominguez, PT, MS, ATC, owner of Cumberland Physical Therapy, in the release. “We’re still figuring out new ways to use the metrics that Clinicient provides and look forward to improving as an organization with this wealth of information.”
