A system rating the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) physicians is now available on the MOR website.

To achieve the ratings, patients were asked questions about their physician’s abilities. These questions focused on how well the physician understood the patient’s ailment, carefully reviewed their medical history, listened to their needs, and showed respect for their concerns. The data was then converted to a 1- to 5-star rating scale, with 5 stars being a perfect score, explains a media release from MOR.

The ratings can now be viewed on each physician’s page at the MOR website.

The rating program was executed by an independent third party utilizing a software system that collects and consolidates data provided by patients about their experience during an appointment. The Clinician and Group Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, which was developed by the US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and administered to patients via email, was used to obtain the patient feedback, per the release.
