Reflexion Health enters the employer market via a strategic partnership with BevCap Management LLC, a program manager for captive insurance companies.
As part of the agreement, Reflexion Health will provide its Virtual Exercise Rehabilitation Assistant (VERA) digital physical therapy platform to BevCap’s clients nationwide as an employee benefit. BevCap’s client roster includes beverage distributors, dairy and food processing, automotive services, and beer wholesalers.
By accessing Reflexion Health’s cloud-based clinical services network, BevCap employees using VERA can receive care—in the form of check-ins and follow-ups—from licensed, trained physical therapists via video visits as part of their benefits package, notes a media release from Reflexion Health
“This partnership with BevCap represents a new market for us and the first partner to use our clinical services network to augment VERA. The FDA-cleared VERA platform is designed to support and remotely monitor physical therapy exercises in real time. It brings the guidance of a physical therapist into the home to coach, motivate, and assess adherence to prescribed physical therapy recovery exercises.
