Physiotherapy Associates, a provider of outpatient rehabilitation services, has announced that Dan Dourney will be assuming the role of the company’s Chief Operations Officer (COO). According to a Physiotherapy Associates news release, Dourney brings to the company an understanding of healthcare experience specializing in the operations and management of outpatient services.
Dourney holds a degree in physical therapy and is an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a Fellow of The Society of Orthopedic Medicine (FSOM). Dourney previously served as a senior director for Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group and was also a member of the Physiotherapy Associates Board of Directors. He also provided executive operational leadership implementing a national turnaround plan for the HealthSouth Outpatient Division.
