HydroWorx, Middletown, Pa, announces a new hour-long webinar, which will take place on December 3 from 1 to 2 pm EST.

Titled “Innovative Co-Treatment Therapy Combining Physical and Speech Therapies in an Aquatic Environment,” the webinar will feature innovative results obtained by speech therapists at Pullman Regional Hospital in Washington State, according to a media release.

The instructors—physical therapist Timothy Williams, PT, DPT, and speech and language pathologist Ambr Henderson, MS, CCC-SLP—will share how the dual-treatment methods they have employed at Pullman Regional Hospital facility’s advanced therapy pool with underwater treadmill helped improve results with their clients by facilitating more comprehensive, holistic outcomes.

In particular, they will discuss their treatment of a 3-year-old boy recovering from a brain tumor, which enabled the team to win the 2015 Healthcare Excellence in Aquatics Award on behalf of Pullman Regional Hospital’s Summit Therapy & Health Services, per the release.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
