New from SmarterLife Products, based in Steamboat Springs, Colo, are SmartSport Resistance Bands.
The 14-piece set includes five heavy-duty bands of progressively greater resistance ranging from light to extra-heavy, two foam padded handles, two ankle/foot straps, one door anchor, a travel pouch, a care and use guide, as well as a bonus exercise sheet and a bonus eBook.
The set also includes specially designed carabiners to allow for “band stacking,” in which tube bands are combined to create customized resistance levels.
The resistance bands are made from durable and nontoxic Thermoplasticized Rubber, which according to the company is free of latex, PVC, glues, phthalates, toluene, and chloride.
“As fitness enthusiasts, we wanted to improve upon the typical resistance bands offered by other companies by improving the workout experience through greater comfort, a wider range of resistance levels, and incorporating materials that are good for us and good for the environment,” says the SmarterLife Products’ co-founder Tim DePuy, in a media release.
