Clinicient Inc, Portland, Ore, a provider of outpatient rehabilitation business solutions, recently launched Empower, a nationwide series of 2-day seminars during which industry experts will share their tips for running a healthy private physical therapy practice.
According to a company news release from Clinicient, the events feature interactive “Ask the Coach” sessions where therapists, administrators, and private practice owners can receive coaching about revenue cycle management (RCM) best practices designed to replace industry uncertainty with practice prosperity and sustainability.
The first Empower event will take place in Los Angeles on April 30 and May 1, the release states, and will feature speakers such as Medicare compliance expert Nancy Beckley and keynote Jeff Hathaway, PT, CEO of PROActive Physical Therapy. Future Empower events are scheduled to take place in Boston and Chicago later this year.
Also at Empower events, participants will receive expert coaching tips about how to prepare for the ICD-10 transition, the importance of selling the value of physical therapy, as well as streamlining techniques for improving physician-patient communications. Additional tips provided to attendees include steps for creating audit-proof documentation and ways to maximize the value of referrals.
