SwimEx Inc, headquartered in Fall River, Mass, recently announced the addition of Sari Cattoni to its sales team.

According to a company news release, Cattoni holds a Master of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Toledo and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Clarion University/California University of Pennsylvania. While at Clarion, she was a 4-year member of the women’s swimming team.

Before joining SwimEx, the release notes that Cattoni served as a physician extender at Advanced Orthopaedics in Richmond, Va. Her expertise stems from past experiences that include working for Bon Secours Health System as the head athletic trainer at Glen Allen High School in Glen Allen, Va, and as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the University of Toledo at Maumee Valley Country Day School.

As an athletic trainer, the release says, Cattoni worked with aquatic therapy and observed the use and promising benefits of SwimEx firsthand at California University during her attendance there. The university has a SwimEx 700T and the athletic trainers use the pool to condition and rehabilitate their athletes.

In the release, Cattoni emphasizes that the position is a “perfect fit” for her, as she has “been a swimmer my entire life and have seen how aquatic therapy helps patients and athletes return from injury quicker and remain healthy. I look forward to using my competitive swimming experience and athletic training to educate consumers about the advantages of owning a SwimEx and the health benefits associated with aquatic fitness and therapy.”
