Reminder Services Inc announces the recipients of the ReminderCall.com Physical Therapy Scholarship, established to help physical therapy students who exhibit academic excellence and a strong sense of personal commitment continue their education.

The five physical therapy student recipients, each of whom will receive a $1,000 scholarship for the 2018-2019 school year, are:

  • Diego Galaviz, California State University-Dominguez Hills
  • Kevin Le, Saint Paul College – A Community and Technical College
  • Savannah McMillen, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
  • Carl Meyer, Marquette University
  • Jennifer Thomas, Campbell University

Established in September 2017, the ReminderCall.com Physical Therapy Scholarship provides financial assistance to college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited physical therapy program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

“I hope to be a teacher not only in the clinic, but someday also to future physical therapists. There are few things more important than passing a passion for service to others, particularly the future generations. I also want to contribute to or perhaps found a non-profit physical therapy service that is able to narrow the healthcare disparity I see every day,” says Meyer, a first-year graduate student, in a media release from International Scholarship and Tuition Services Inc.

Silicon Valley, Calif-based Reminder Services Inc provides automated appointment reminders for the healthcare industry.
