Scott Muggeo, MS, ATC, CSCS, partner and vice president of Clinical Operations/Allied Services of Professional Physical Therapy, says in the release that the company is “thrilled to welcome South Bay Physical Therapy as our first clinic on the south shore of Western Suffolk County, further increasing our geographical coverage. Patients can expect the excellent quality care they have always received at South Bay with the expanded benefits of being part of the Professional family.”

Maria A. Salonia, DSCc, PT, CSCS, creator and owner of South Bay Sports & Physical Therapy, designates this as “an exciting time for South Bay. The opportunities and benefits this new relationship affords patients and staff are extraordinary.”

Salonia goes on to emphasize Professional’s dedication to excellence in patient care and service. “I’m honored to now be a part of its team,” Salonia adds.

This newest acquisition, the release states expands Professional’s reach with 44 clinics operating throughout Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, and New Jersey.

According to the release, Professional’s outpatient physical therapy centers are designed to provide treatment to patients with musculoskeletal impairments associated with accidents, sports injuries, and other medical conditions. Additionally, Professional operates a 20,000-square-foot sports performance training facility in Garden City, NY.
