A joint company news release announces that ProRehab Physical Therapy’s partnership with Physical Therapy Plus (PT Plus) is now official.

ProRehab Physical Therapy is a locally owned, Louisville-based private practice physical therapy company.

The release notes that the merger allows both groups to continue to provide care to residents from their combined eight locations throughout Louisville.

PT Plus co-owners David Boyce, EdD, ECS, OCS, Marcia Boyce, PT, CFO, and Eric McElroy, PT, DPT, OCS, will remain integrally involved and continue to operate as PT Plus under a combined brand with ProRehab Louisville local owners Larry Benz, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA, and Patty Benz, PT, DPT, according to the release.

In the release, Larry Benz, ProRehab president and CEO, emphasizes that the company looks “forward to seeing how our patients and the healthcare community as a whole will benefit from the advantages of local ownership.”

According to the release, joining ProRehab Louisville’s Chenoweth Square and Fern Creek locations are PT Plus’ two clinics in Highlands and Prospect, which will now operate as part of the ProRehab Louisville locally owned private practice network. The clinics are also joined by Apex Physical Therapy’s four locations in Middletown, Hillcrest, LaGrange, and on River Road.

The release notes that in addition to services like manual physical therapy, pain management, orthopaedic physical therapy, sports physical therapy, sport performance enhancement, and industrial medicine, all clinics will offer My Physical Therapist, a concierge physical therapy service designed to provide patients exclusive access to their physical therapist with a number of enhanced member benefits designed to manage health and wellness across a spectrum.

Additionally, ProRehab Louisville features the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill, Nike 360 golf training, and a medically supervised sports enhancement program.
