John Cayer has recently been named as president of Mueller Sports Medicine. He will report directly to Brett Mueller, who held the position of president for 18 years but is now the company’s CEO.
Cayer, who brings 27 years of industry experience at SC Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, and Abbott to the position, is the company’s first president who is not a Mueller family member, according to the company in a news release.
“John brings significant global business building experience and a passion for sports,” says Brett Mueller. “His focus on the consumer, customer and innovation make him a great fit for our company. The addition of John to our team works well to achieve our strategic plans of continual expansion.”
Curt Mueller, founder and CEO of the Prairie du Sac, Wis-based company, will remain chairman of the board.
