The recent hurricanes in the continental United States, Harvey and Irma, interrupted operations of clinics in large parts of the states of Texas, Florida, and Georgia, notes U.S. Physical Therapy in a media release.

In total, operations of 81 of the provider’s 567 clinics were affected, due to high winds, loss of electrical power, flooding, and road closures from the storms.

According to a preliminary estimate from U.S. Physical Therapy, more than 7,100 patient visits, representing approximately $635,000 in revenue and gross profit contribution, were lost.
